
Lagipoiva Cherelle Jackson has reported on the Pacific islands for over 20 years focusing on climate, gender, culture and human rights. She currently reports for The Guardian and The Economist on Pacific Island issues. Lagipoiva was a Reuters Fellow at the University of Oxford where she conducted the first in depth study on media coverage of climate change in the Pacific islands and global climate journalism treatment of islands. She now serves on the Board of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, a global network of journalists reporting climate change.
